Delivery to Edinburgh Zoo

Edinburgh Zoo asked FRM to supply their Chimp house with 40m3 of our best 6mm Compost.  It was blown into the enclosure using a specialist vehicle supplied by ScotBark.  The only entrance into the enclosure was through two small openings so the compost had to be delivered in this way down a long tube.  We hope that all of our new friends at Edinburgh Zoo are now very comfortable with their new flooring.

Beechgrove Garden visit Braehead

During the month of June our Edinburgh site at Braehead quarry received a visit from Beechgrove garden presenter Jim McColl.  Site manager Mike Munro was interviewed about a contribution of Compost that FRM had made to a local community garden project in Silverburn, explaining the composting and screening operations.  Mike was slightly nervous about the whole thing but settled into the role well, he is now considering a move to Hollywood!!
